New Orleans Central Labor Council and Locals Meet With Senator Vitter’s Staff

Vitter Last Tuesday June 23rd the New Orleans Central Labor Council and several Locals met with Senator Vitter’s staff in Metairie, LA.

 

Tiger Hammond, President of the New Orleans Central Labor Council and President of the Building Trades, went with about 15 members of BAC, IAMAW, IBEW, UA and UTNO to Senator Vitter’s office discuss economic issues directly affecting working people in Louisiana and to urge Senator Vitter to support the Employee Free Choice Act.

The delegation delivered letters and petitions to let Senator Vitter know that working people in Louisiana need the Employee Free Choice Act.
