The last 2 years the number of registered players for the main event has dropped but some say this is in part but less sponsorship opportunities as online poker sites cannot advertise so freely. You will see a lot of sponsored pros wearing clothing and the 2 biggest sponsors seem to be Poker Stars as the number one site followed by Full Tilt Poker.
Expect to see other sponsors such as Expekt, Party Poker and even Absolute Poker.
